Week One!

Well I actually stayed on track and completed one food and one project item from Pinterest. The project I decided to complete was this from Fabulessly Frugal. It was super easy and turned out so cute!!! I can't wait to see Morgan in it on the 4th! Although this picture doesn't have the red ribbon in it yet. All I had was white at the time so I'll change that around. =))

Ok lets hope this continues!!! Week 2 is in progress!

Tasty Tuesday

I think I have pinned about a million things on Pinterest and have probably only "recreated" a handful of them. So I figured I would start doing one food and one project a week otherwise, whats the point in having a Pinterest account. It will also give me something to blog about because clearly my life is boring since I haven't posted anything on here in a year. =))

So my first food pin recreation is the Neopolitan cupcakes. They were originally created by I Heart Naptime. They were sooooooooooo good. I cheated a bit though and used Vanilla frosting already made. She gives you the recipe for vanilla frosting on her post if you want to go that route. All you do is make up some brownie batter and strawberry cake batter and pour the brownie batter in the muffin tin first about 1/3 of the way and then pour in the strawberry cake batter another 1/3. Let bake on 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Then frost. Delish!

Calebs 3rd Birthday!!!

I can't believe my sweet baby is about to turn three!!! I found these cute free printables here http://www.partylikeakid.com/2010/08/introducing-the-paper-cupcake-and-free-printables/ and after I saw them I knew thats what theme I would do for Calebs party! I think it turned out cute. It was sooooooooooooo hot outside so thankfully the kids had some water to play in.







I think he enjoyed himself!!

Happy Birthday baby!!!

4 weeks!!!!

I am in complete nursery decorating mode at this point! Its completely consumed my life. All I do is browse the internet for ideas. I only have 4 weeks left and haven't done one thing in baby girls nursery except buy the crib and bedding!!! I have all these projects that I need to do but between raising a toddler and work I'm just too tired to do anything once I get home. Hopefully we will have the walls and trim painted by this weekend so we can go get the rest of the furniture and starting getting this thing together! Watch...she'll actually come early and nothing will be done. =)
